How does Hercules calculate the number of machines needed? +
We use a load factor calculation based on your number of units, typical occupancy rates, and laundry usage patterns. We'll share our analysis in your free proposal.
How long does installation take? +
Typically 60 days from contract signing to go-live. Our team handles permitting, demolition of old equipment, and professional installation of new machines.
My card shows a different balance than the app — why? +
The app updates in real time but card balance on the reader may have a short sync delay. If the difference persists for more than 24 hours, contact support.
How do I get a new laundry card? +
Request a card online or ask your building management office. Allow 5–7 business days for delivery.
How do I request a refund? +
Submit a refund request through the Hercules app, or fill out the form online. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days back to your card.
How quickly do technicians respond? +
Technicians are typically on-site within 24–72 hours.
How do I report a broken machine? +
Call 1-800-526-5760 or submit a report online. Please have the machine number ready — it's on the label on the machine.
What happens after installation? +
We hold a brief Open House to introduce residents to the new machines and app. You'll receive login credentials for the owner portal.
What are the rental agreement terms? +
Agreements are typically 5–10 years, with an average of 7 years.
Can I customize the laundry room design? +
Yes! You choose paint colors, flooring, and tile finishes. We'll provide samples to select from.
How quickly will I receive a proposal? +
We typically respond within 2–3 business days of the site survey.
What does a laundry room survey involve? +
Our team evaluates the floor space, wall conditions, venting, plumbing, and electrical capacity. We also take measurements and photos to plan the optimal layout.
The dryer isn’t getting hot — what should I check? +
Make sure your clothes were properly spin-dried first. Overloaded dryers and very wet clothes reduce heat effectiveness. If the issue persists, report it to support.
My clothes are still wet after the wash cycle — what do I do? +
Do not transfer to the dryer. Move the clothes to another washer and run a spin-only cycle to remove excess water before drying.
What can I do in the app? +
Check real-time machine availability, pay by phone, view your balance and history, report issues, and request refunds.
Is the app free? +
Yes, the Hercules app is completely free on both iOS and Android.
What equipment options are available? +
We offer both new and certified remanufactured equipment from Maytag, Speed Queen, Wascomat, and ADC.
How long does an authorization code stay valid? +
Authorization codes expire after 30 days. If yours expired, contact support for a new one.
Can I register multiple cards on one account? +
Yes. The Hercules app supports multiple card registrations under a single account.
Is my credit card information secure? +
Yes. Hercules uses encrypted payment processing. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
