The Beginning
Alfred May founded Hercules. A simple storefront on Utica Avenue in Brooklyn, NY marked the beginning of Hercules. Built on strong service values, this small operation would go on to become a trusted name in the laundry industry.
A New Generation Joins
Andrew assumed the role of president. Under his leadership, Hercules maintained its strong service-oriented roots while embracing advanced technology. His vision enhanced convenience, expertise, and the overall quality of the laundry experience for our customers.
First Credit Card Machine
Hercules had our first credit card machine installed, marking a significant step toward modern payment convenience for laundry users.
ADC's Premier Partner Award
American Dryer Corporation awarded Hercules Corp. with its prestigious Premier Partner Award at the 2009 Clean Show in New Orleans. The Premier Partner award was instituted in 2005 to celebrate the achievements of a highly select group of ADC distributors.
Adam May Joins the Team
Adam May became part of Hercules in 2011, marking the company's transition into a third-generation family business. He now serves as vice president, dedicated to preserving strong relationships while advancing innovative technologies.
